Our client is a leading worldwide producer and distributor of products for the construction and remodeling industries.

The Challenge

After re-organizing the talent acquisition function centrally as a shared services center, our client requested a complete and independent assessment of their structure, process and technology. This was to lay the foundation for a path of continuous future improvements.


TalentRISE’s comprehensive assessment has positioned the newly formed department to meet future anticipated hiring needs for 40 plants,140 branches and multiple sales offices in the US and Canada. Our gap analysis created a blueprint for optimum staffing structure and levels, technology, a sourcing strategy, performance metrics and process improvement. Change management has been a major focus and even relatively small improvements, such as using video recruitment tools for otherwise hard to recruit truck drivers, have had a significant impact. The client still refers to our report as “The Bible”.
