The Challenge

Prior to new product launch in the U.S., this global specialty footwear leader sought to hire 90 experienced retail brand ambassadors and in-store sales representatives in just 90 days. The ideal candidates needed to demonstrate a unique combination of high-end retail sales and visual merchandising experience combined with a passion for sports. The internal recruiting team lacked the bandwidth, knowledge, systems and recruiting strategies needed to address this recruiting initiative so TalentRISE was engaged to provide an On-demand recruitment.

To speed the process, our team of 5 recruiters, managed by a dedicated full time project manager, utilized a targeted online pay-per-click, geo-targeted recruitment advertising and branding campaign using video interview technology in lieu of face-to-face interviews.  


The positions were filled on time with the ideal candidates and a pipeline of 69 additional candidates was turned over, post-project, to the client.  The  total cost-per-hire ROI equivalent was 13.2% of salaries recruited which represented a total cost savings of $255,000, or a savings of over $8K/hire, compared to paying 20% contingency search vendor fees.
